I tried, to find out, which part of the configuration triggers the bug. The router has an /60 IPv6 uplink via IPsec and 2 /64 LANs. One LAN port is the one, where plugging in the cable freezes the box. When I remove the IPv6 address from the other port, the box does not freeze immediately when I plug in the cable instead it keeps running until the default route comes up (via pppoe/IPsec).
