My Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 will not connect to the network. In dmesg there is an UNKNOWN firmware error and the error "iwn0: crystal calibration failed"
Ubuntu Wheezy uses the same firmware, 6000g2b fw v17.168.5.1 build 33993, without problem so I believe this may be a problem with the iwn driver. pcidump actually identifies this as an "Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6030", so maybe that's the root of the problem? The iwn manpage doesn't explicitly mention the 6230, just the "6000" series. Is the 6230 even supported? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Regards, Laurence.
