>Description:
A heavy stream of traffic will cause the NIC to stop responding to all
trafic. This occurs on Mac PPC as well as Sun (I tested it on a Netra T1). If I
have console access to the machine `ifconfig gem0 down`, `ifconfig gem0 up`
sometimes brings it back. If the interface will not respond a reboot is
required.
>How-To-Repeat:
Transfer a large (> 100MB) over SSH or HTTP
>Fix:
Define GEM_DEBUG in /usr/src/sys/dev/ic/gem.c or simply enable the
following lines
