Yes, I did. I did some more research, and I can't find a source what tells what to do when using a monospaced font in this century. Most typography articles seem to think monospaced fonts died somewhere in the 80's...
Also, OpenBSD man pages use double sentence spacing, while Linux manpages use single sentence spacing.
