I have an Eee PC netbook that is an excellent little OpenBSD machine. I replaced the built in wifi card with one that uses athn0 and it works great. I recently changed the WPA2 key on my Apple Airport Extreme and noticed that I could no longer get the Eee PC to connect. In investigating this, I found this:
1) If i set the key to 12345678, it would connect fine. 2) If I set the key to a 38 character sequence with uppercase, lowercase, number, and symbol, it doesn’t connect. Is there a length limit or list of characters that do not work in wpa keys? I use hostname.athn0 to configure it. Jordon
