The radeon(4) driver should work with your > hardware now. gah, yeah I created an xorg.conf ages ago, probably because of issues with radeondrm and I completely forgot about it. Removed xorg.conf and things are working just fine. Suspend/resume does not work, though, but that's another (actual) bug report I guess. Thanks, and appologies for the retarded bug report.
