Just to confirm, adding [sndiod_flags="-m rec"] to rc.conf.local has resulted in the aucat output dumping past 12 hours and 25 minutes. For our purposes this is acceptable, as the machine is not used for audio playback in any way. Thanks for the workaround! I'm going to assume that this also corrects the "sio(default|): busy loop, disconnecting" error, and move back to encoding the raw output to mono mp3 files rotated on an hourly basis. If you require me to test any patches using the default [sndiod_flags=""] then just say the word. I have two logger machines both using an ART USB Phono Plus device. It is no trouble for me to test patches on one of them. Breen Ouellette
