For hostap I would recommend any PCI/PCIe device with a chipset listed in the athn(4) man page. If you don't want Atheros, try devices for any of the other drivers marked as (AP) in the faq: http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq6.html#Wireless I cannot give you a product name to buy. There are too many and I don't know all of them.
