Chromium crashes and dumps core when installing the web experience
enhancing extension uBlock Origin. The extension is installed manually
as per instructions on the author's GitHub page:

Fix:
The fix posted on https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/issues/566 is
effective. The problem is characterized as a browser bug but the fix is
a patch to the extension code.
