Started with a clean src tree and I get a different problem now, might
just be an out of sync userland as even though a "crash" happened the
system is working (or at least appears to be).
This time the dump didn't continue to write hex to the console and scroll off.

As I look at this it might just be some clean-up from the previous
crash and not any new issue. I'll reboot after the userland build
completes and report after that.
