It got better, now it goes into sleep and resume immediatly but doesn't crash. I unplugged ethernet and usb devices before going into suspend mode and it doesn't help. After resume, the system was feeling weird, a bit unresponsive when changing window and ultimately it froze after a few minutes, ping was down from outside and I had to keep the power button pushed to shutdown the computer.
