In my case 848x480 in 6.2 release, but 1280x800 if I install the 6.1 release. I
attached 6.1, 6.2, and snapshot dmesg outputs, for more details also with
verbose output. I also tested not only with 64 bit, but with the i386 releases
also - the results are the same.
Actually what I want to know is if in the 6.2 release can I set the resolution
to a higher value (like it is set by default in 6.1).

Send a full dmesg to [email protected] and explain what outputs you are
trying to use. Testing a snapshot would also be helpful.
