Synopsis: VMD causes system to lock up
System : OpenBSD 6.3
Details : OpenBSD 6.3-current (GENERIC.MP) #119: Sun Apr 1
22:08:17 MDT 2018
Machine : amd64
Starting vmd then using vmctl to load a "Virtual" Alpine Linux image \
causes the system to lock up and the following is printed to the
[ 0.0000000] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): A valid RSDP was not found \
vmctl start docker \
-Lcm 2048M \
-r /home/user/Downloads/alpine-virt-3.7.0-x86_64.iso \
Not as far as I'm aware.
Thanks for your bug report.
Can you test if it does not lock up when backing out this change?
You might have to hand edit as it did not cleanly reverse apply for me.
