But sometimes OpenNTP disable every peer and give up syncing the clock.
The reason why it does not trust ntp peer any more is the constraints.
I guess it occurs because ntpd does not poll constraints servers as often as ntp peers. The comparaison is between ntp peer response and old constraints response + elapsed time.
But elapsed time is too wrong
How-To-Repeat:
I am hosted by Tilaa, and cannot change Linux/KVM. My first OpenBSD freeze occured when they moved my VM from one host to another.
Fix:

As a workaround I commented out constraints in /etc/ntpd.conf. And I am migrating to another hosting compagny. As a fix, I humbly suggest to inquire the constraints server and the ntp peer just at the same time before disabling it.
