I tried updating the BIOS to the latest version of the T430 and this did not affect the problem. Additionally, I was able to re-produce the same behavior on my X220 (I did a HDD swap though, so if something in my install is subtly broken that might be why... I doubt that that is the case though). I forgot to mention in the original report that this is the T430 without the nVidia GPU, it only has the integrated card. So it sounds like this problem affects 2nd and 3rd gen "Intel HD Graphics". Can anyone with a newer or older Intel iGPU chime in if they can reproduce? ~ Charles
