<snip> So I'm beginning to think that my computer was overheating and this may not be an OpenBSD problem. I was watching videos while compiling things when the crashes happened, and my fans were blasting. I've since updated my BIOS (though none of the changes since my last update seem to be related to throttling/thermal) and disabled thunderbolt as a "why not since I don't use it" decision, and I haven't hit any crashes again yet (on -current). I'll report back in a week if my crashes are gone, or sooner if they return. Sorry for the noise, Jeremy
