I see the potential with making the automatic updates find only the encrypted partition, but I have the same problem on the same motherboard as the thread-owner. How do I run -current with an encrypted partition when the encrypted partition is invisible to even bioctl into it when I disable ACPI, which is what I have to do to the newest bsd.rd?
