Hi, Thanks for the report. Could you check that recording (or "microphone" or whatever it is called) is enabled in the BIOS settings? There's a known problem with many devices: when recording is disabled in the BIOS the device keeps claiming recording capability, which confuses the azalia driver and breaks audio. Note that, if this is not a multi-boot system, recording still can be disabled globally, by the kern.audio.record sysctl.
