They are handy for those few machines where it's difficult to run -current
(I don't have so many of those though, even with "production" machines),
but realistically those developers who are building and signing syspatches
have a lot to deal with for the existing architectures - adding more is
quite likely not really viable.

This is one of the factors that users should consider when deciding to
use a less common arch.
