You can close this bug now. It seems vi might have uppercased a letter in the wpakey in hostname.iwn0 resulting in a similarly looking handshake fail at 2/4? Seems to work now with join too, atleast on the second attempt after correcting the key. Should an authentication failure message have been generated? Sorry and Thank You
