True. It was not my intention to blame umb(4). To try it with Linux was just the idea to find out whether if the hardware itself is broken. I had in the past bad experience with ThinkPad hardware.
Could you please check, if there is a newer firmware available an if so, update your device.
Yes, there is a newer version of the firmware but untill now I was not able to find a working tool to flash the firmware. The Platform Flash Tool Lite itself did not work and I was not able to find the downloadTool / flsTool. I will continue to look for something.
