        <when using aucat or another wave player to play a wave file on my 
raspberry pi 4 there is a lot of unwanted noise; if i generate other work like 
open more terminals is xorg and
move the mouse between them quickley to change foucus, then the sound quality 
is a lot better but not good.

As you can see fron the info i am running a custom kernel: however, the only 
changes i have made to it are to add my Yamaha midi keyboard ids and code to 
match it in the usb midi driver.
And those changes have been successful. >
