        System : OpenBSD 6.9

>Description:
        I upgraded from a 2021-06-11 snapshot to a 2021-07-22
snapshot and occasionally had the following crash. I
upgraded to several later snapshots hoping that a fix
might have already been committed, but still found the
same crashes up until an August 2nd (or so) snapshot.

panic: config_detach: forced detach of iwm0 failed (45)

The only two things that seemed to be in common were the
        following:

        (1) The system was heavily utilizing the wireless network
at the times of the crashes.

        (2) The system (a laptop) was VERY warm when most of the
panics occurred. I don't know if this was a coincidence, a
        hardware-based failsafe that throttled/detached the
wireless chip to reduce heat, or even a physical/thermal
expansion of the slot in which it's connected that may have
loosened contact with the pins. Again, it may be total
        coincidence.

All but one of the panics totally hung the system, only
showing a panic message. I had to hold the power button
for 5 seconds to get the system to shut down. It was
        non-responsive to everything else.

However, one of the panics dropped me into ddb where I was
        able to get some information.

I have manually transcribed the following from photographs
of the panic screen. Please forgive any typos.

I am willing to test any patches and provide more information.

However, given the sporadic nature of the crashes, it may take a
few days to reproduce a crash, and even then they didn't always
allow for keyboard input at ddb.

>How-To-Repeat:
Unknown. The system has panicked after several days of
uptime, and also within minutes of a cold boot. However,
utilizing the wireless network heavily seems to greatly
increase the odds of the system panicking.

>Fix:
Unknown. Reverting to the June 11th 2021 snapshot fixed
        the issue for me.
