Yes, I have had that problem when trying to do disk duplication as outlined in the FAQ, gtar does the trick, but I have just used the dump method instead. Is it a difficult task to fix our tar? Should the tar method be removed from the disk duplication instructions in the FAQ? Perhaps just a note warning about the problem there? Chris Bennett
