The trace you showed before feels like filesystem corruption to me, or perhaps some io error (I'm not really a fan of SD cards for more than temporary storage, especially combined with USB). Some file that calendar is accessing maybe triggering the crash, but there's about 0 chance that it's a bug in calendar, or directly caused by calendar other than it happens to be something that calendar is accessing. > I wasn't even aware my system was even using calendar. > How can I find out what is calling it? > > Thank you. See daily(8), it is run as part of overnight maintenance. $ man -k Xr=calendar cal(1) - displays a calendar leave(1) - print reminders when it is time to leave hier(7) - layout of filesystems daily, monthly, weekly(8) - periodic system maintenance
