/etc/daily starts the backup (called from /etc/daily.local), backups
are written to a softraid crypto volume on an external (USB) disk.
I use the link-dest option to rsync to keep daily changes in sync, so
there's a lot of files with a high link-count.

The backups are pulled from various systems using rsync-over-ssh. At
the end of the backup run, the partition storing the backups is
unmounted. This is when the panic happened.
It's now the third time this happened in many months, so it's not a
frequent problem.
I've now fixed serial console so that I can actually type at the DDB
prompt should it happen again. Is there anything I should do when it
happens again to further debug?
