Ohhh now I remember why we have -c $configfile in unbound; it's so that unbound-control stop/start don't mess things up for rcctl. So actually I think we do want to keep that. I think it maybe used to be the same for nsd but we use nsd-control from rc.d/nsd anyway which takes care of this for us.
