7.9 release amd64 bsd.mp panics reproducibly about one minute after
boot on a HP ProLiant DL360 G7. Rolling back to 7.8 GENERIC.MP on
the same hardware and configuration makes the box stable again.
I reinstalled 7.9 twice from different sources to be sure.
My server is also a HP ProLiant DL360 G7 and I do not have panics(*).
May I ask you which power profile you use?
