I have, and it reports UDP truncation; but there are no such red flags when IPv4 is used or my home lab devices are used. Others are more than welcome to confirm/deny this behavior with their own tests. Should be noted that I haven’t tried any other OpenBSD installation on a virtual machine, so perhaps it’s related to the specific virtual machine my VPS provider uses (i.e., QEMU with KVM)? Linux works just fine on it though as does OpenBSD 7.6. I’m more than willing to contact Jason Donenfeld and the WireGuard team to collaborate again on OpenBSD’s implementation. I’d hate for this to become another FreeBSD fiasco. No one knows the protocol better than them. Combining that with the networking knowledge of the kernel developers like yourself seems like a good idea.
