You can get an excellent introduction to all things "RTEMS" by starting
from https://devel.rtems.org/wiki/GSoC/GettingStarted and following some
of the links. For example there is a link to a page describing the mailing
lists. The page also explains how to easily get RTEMS running inside of a
simulated CPU.
