This issue exists to track <gcc bug will be added when I can submit it>.
GCC generates bad alignments for sections with elements smaller than 8
bytes on AArch64.
This was previously worked around by using SUBALIGN() in the linker
script, but this causes other problems when larger elements are stored in
linker sections.
