The config.ini options make it seem like selecting a console device when installing the BSP is as simple as configuring the device type (UART/USART) and the device index. However pin-config.c only has PIO settings for USART1, therefore selecting any other configuration in config.ini does not work. Pin-config.c needs to be extended if a different serial device is to be used.
