They were globally available before. There was no reason to scatter the 
dependencies out. One of the supposed advantages of all the source 
reorganization to get waf support was to avoid dealing with header files 
scattered.

And yes, one of the PowerPC bsps did not build. It had a driver that included 
uuid.h
