The fact it changes the outcome may provide to be good information but it fundamentally changes the performance profile of this BSP. The tool `rtems-exeinfo` has the ability to examine and report the compiler flags each object file is built with. If as asserted by the AI in point 4 there may be a mismatch you can easily check.
