Summary:  
EMC Documentum xCP contains fixes for multiple security vulnerabilities that 
could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected 
system. 

Details:  
•       CVE-2016-0881 - DQL injection vulnerability: 
A parameter in xCP REST request can be appended with DQL queries, which may 
result in disclosure of sensitive information from the backend repository.
CVSSv3 score: 6.5 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N)

•       CVE-2016-0882 - XML External Entity vulnerability:
Certain post requests in xCP are vulnerable to XML External Entity attacks. 
Successful exploitation might result in sensitive server files to be disclosed 
in the corresponding response.
CVSSv3 score: 5.4 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:L)

Resolution:  
The following EMC Documentum xCP releases contain resolutions to these 
vulnerabilities:
•       EMC Documentum xCP 2.1, patch 23 and later
•       EMC Documentum xCP 2.2, patch 11 and later
EMC recommends all customers upgrade at the earliest opportunity.
