I would also suggest pointing out that X11 is required to build. I do not think 
it is part of the base install of the Dev Tools, it is not separately 
downloadable (so I need to try to find those @#$%@&! DVDs) and it is not a 
command-line tool. Or is it part of what you get with that install option? I am 
still on SnowLeopard, so I do not know. And I cannot build the JDK for lack of 
freetype, which seems to come with X11.
