Thanks Phil, That might be a useful hint. If I use the jfxrt.jar from 7u15 there are no problems but if I use the jfxrt.jar built from the jfx controls scrum repo it fails. I am going to try building from the jfx graphics repo. I don't know much about the jfx build and related dependencies but Kevin might.
