It seems strange that a "modularization change" requires code
duplication - that's not how I understand modularization:)
The source code is now organized by module and porting_aix.* is being
compiled into two unrelated modules. It might be worth looking at it
again to see which library it should be compiled into. On the other
hand, there is interest in just dropping HPROF so maybe this issue will
become mute in time.
