Thanks for the quick response. I used the below command. I guess it is 8.

|hg clone http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8/jdk8 /YourOpenJDK

I tried using make from Cygwin and also i downloaded make 3.8 source, compiled and used it. With the both the make files, i am getting the same error. Could some one how to continue the make?
