Switching to zlib looks good although it's impossible to see the changes in this webrev because all the files show up as new.

The assumption is the remove of the version tag can help us to easily get the
diffs from the webrev directly in future upgrade.

wevrev failed to create the diffs for couple files, I wonder if it is because of the order I did the change (renamed the zlib.1.2.8->zlib first, then applied the file level change in the repo, or applied the file level changes and then rename the dir )
