After reading resources you've mentioned and doing some research I became able to set short name for "Micrisoft Visual Studio" directory using: `fsutil file setshortname "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio" msvs`, without even enabling 8dot3name globally. Now I'm building openjdk. Gratitude. Keep on the great job :)
