 My buildslaves need to shut down if the system needs a reboot (e.g. if
 ubuntu's update manager has created the file /var/run/reboot-required),
 since the usual cause of that state is a graphics driver update
 which causes all my tests to fail.

 I'll hack that in some other way for now (like with killall from a build
 step).
