Let's leave this here, then. The tricky bit about a code change is that
Buildbot doesn't know if it's looking at a tag or a branch, so it doesn't
know when to add a "refs/tags/" prefix. If someone can come up with a way
to figure that out, then we'll merge a patch. Otherwise, folks running
into this problem will find this bug and use the workaround.
