Fix trac ticket 3207
The unicode output in a log is lost & is treated as an ASCII string when there
are multiple chunks.
This can cause exceptions when mixing strings which will validate that the
contents of an "ascii" string are ascii.

Fix sigtermTime race.
If twisted notices that a process dies between when SIGTERM is sent,
then RunProcess.process.pid will be None, causing checkDead to fail.
In any case, the timer will be leaked, and it will be cancelled after having
been called.
