Assaf Arkin commented on BUILDR-3:
----------------------------------
On my part, I'm going to get JRuby and RJB working side by side in 1.3, with
some major cleanup of the wrapper code, so leave that to me.
But you can help me a lot if you can figure out a way to get the packaging test
cases to work. I think the problem is with uncompressing the Zip files with
RubyZip. Being able to run all the tests would make it easier to not break
things.
Also Nick Sieger of the JRuby team has an RSpec plugin developed specifically
for Buildr:
http://pivots.pivotallabs.com/users/pzabelin/blog/articles/375-functional-tests-for-java-project-rspec-jruby
It needs to be upgraded to 1.3, and Nick said he'll license it under the ASL,
so we can include it in 1.3. I would suggest helping him with the upgrade, and
adding as many test cases as you can.
