Misssing console with ant 1.7.1

In buildr 1.3.3, some console messages are missing once the Derby ant task has
been executed.
This could be workarounded by using ant 1.7.0 (instead of 1.7.1).
I don't know whose this bug belongs to: build, ant, derby task? a combination
of them?
This jira issue is for the common knowledge base.
I attached a zip file containing a pet project to reproduce the issue.
