Investigated, appears to be a spurious failure. Exactly one
configuration (CentOS 7 with Autotools without libevent/OpenSSL) failed
with this:

All other configurations passed. This has been previously captured in
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-3968, which is now a three
year old bug.
