I think it would be incredibly useful. I use koji a lot so it takes care of that, but occasionally find myself trying to replicate what happens inside koji with mock standalone. It certainly would likely make the implementation easier for me to be able to just configure a couple things and be done with it, or use the same plugin koji would likely use for my mock builds.
