Actually, we will have to deal with the live data issue, too at some point so any ideas on that will be helpful, too..
But I am basically saying how long do we have to retain our paper and electronic records including code builds... Like I said, I don't think the regs address this, but every software company will need to have some kind of policy... -----Original Message----- From: Mimi Hart [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2002 9:36 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: QA Testing and records retention I am new to this list..but the issue definatetly applies..but I am unsure which issue: 1. Testing of software that included "live data" for privacy issues? or 2. Testing of software to show that it meets Security regs? We are attempting to create a policy for this, but we are unclear how to set the levels... I am not sure if the regulations say anything about this because it sounds more like a legal question to me... But any suggestions would be helpful.
