This person doesn't need many years of experience either writing requirements or test cases, but has to be very, very quick-minded and fast at a) looking at an existing system, and then b) noting what the system does in brief (perfect) English in a spreadsheet. The person must use Excel and Word on a regular basis. Proficiency in Quality Center and Optimal Trace would be a plus. We need great, not just good, written and verbal communication skills. 1 opening for this. This is a BA role with a lot of requirements writing work. Then the person will do testing later on. Need to be like the first 2 we hired....BA's with testing experience. Emphasis on communication skills for this. *Position#2 Job Profile : senior testers/team leads/test architects Location : Des Moines Duration : 6 months Start : ASAP* 2) Two senior testers/team leads/test architects to assist the client in "testing best practices". These folks must be great at using Quality Center (QC) and have used QC to manage testing from Requirements to manual testing to automation. These folks must be very, very social and great verbal and written communicators as they will be working with an existing QA Team of eight and "showing them the right way to do things". Experience required: 1) Team Lead or Technical Lead on several recent complex projects that used Quality Center, manual testing, and automated testing. 2) MS Windows environment - not a web project, so some compatibility testing on different windows versions is required. 3) Very supportive, 'care-giver" personality - this person will be "showing how it's done" and teaching others. 4) Great written and verbal communication skills! Not just good, but great! 5) Ability to use PowerPoint to describe testing concepts and strategies. 6) Ability to 1) define testing strategy, 2) communicate testing strategy, and 3) monitor progress for a team of ten testers on compressed "time-to-market" release cycles. 7) Expect that at least 5 years of experience will be required. 8) Ability to start immediately. 1 opening for this. Need to be hands on as a tester and also a leader that can mentor other leads while still doing testing work. This is not a manager role, more of a testing role that requires the ability to mentor others to be leads. 3) Two senior Quick Test Pro automation engineers. These folks must be: 1) Have recent experience in architecting tests that run from Quality Center 2) Understand how to work with testers and design tests correctly for automation 3) Be creative in setting up automated test data sets 4) Patience to work with client automation engineers with 1 year of experience. 5) Understand how to design automation systems (frameworks) for 2010 - not 1996. 2 openings for this. Must be skilled in QTP. Version they are using is 9.2. This position has the least importance of the 3 position in regards to communication skills. Need a very good communicator on this 8/10.
